Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into two year Master of Social Work (MSW) program offered by Department of Social Work for 2012. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree program of 3 years duration from a recognized University. 

• Any person with a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 year) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized university is eligible to apply.
  
  
• B.A (H) social work students with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized University are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Those candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of the Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply subject to the qualification listed above.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST shall be eligible as per Delhi University rules to pass with the minimum marks.
  
  
• PWD candidates shall be allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to OBC category shall be eligible for admission as per University norms. 

How to Apply

• Application form and information bulletin can obtained from the Department of Social Work against a cash payment of Rs.650 (For general and OBC candidates) and Rs.450 (For SC/ST category candidates) at department counter or by post.
  
  
• Applications forms can also be downloaded from the DU’s website: www.du.ac.in and submit the duly completed application form along with a demand draft of Rs.700/- for general candidates and Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi.
  
  
• Duly filled in application form should be submitted at the Department by hand or by post on or before the last date. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit in the Written Test and Group Discussion and personal interview.

• Sale of prospectus and application form begins: 30^th Apr, 2012 (Monday)
• Last date for sale of application form: 13^th Jun, 2012 (Wednesday)
• Last date for submission of application form: 20^th Jun, 2012 (Wednesday)
• Date of entrance test: 22^nd  Jun , 2012 (Friday)
