Applications are invited from eligible and skillful physically disabled candidates under special recruitment drive 2013, for the following Teaching posts:

Assistant Professor
Lecturer

Note

Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in Interview, to be conducted by the selection committee of DU Institute of Home Economics.

For interview, candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their academic qualification. The selection committee will intimate the date and venue of the interview to all short-listed candidates. Eligibility Conditions

Master's Degree in Home Science with specialization in Community Resource Management and Extension / Resource Management securing minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter O, A, B, C, D, E & F, from a recognized University / College
Marks relaxation of 5% is given to SC / ST or those candidates who have qualified Master's Degree examination before September 19, 1991, and possess a PhD Degree from a recognized University / College. Also, candidates who have passed UGC / CSIR - JRF examination before 1989 will also be given marks relaxation of 5%.
Candidates should qualify UGC / CSIR - National Eligibility Test (NET), or any other similar test recognized by UGC.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply in the prescribed application format downloadable from the official website of DU Institute of Home Economics.
In addition, application form can also be obtained from the office of the DU Institute of Home Economics, Hauz Khas Enclave, New Delhi - 110016, on all working days, between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm.
The duly filled-in application form or hard copy of the downloaded application form,duly complete in all respect, along with the photocopies of all requisite documents, should be either submitted or sent to the:
