Type: Employment Notices

All the eligible candidates are for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Tutor.

The posts are being offered at semi-autonomous institutions i.e.

• Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad
• Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa
• Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam
• Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Ongole
• Govt. Dental College & Hospital, RIMS, Kadapa.

• Recruitment is to be done purely on contract basis for a fixed period of time (Professors - up to 3 years, Associate Professors - up to 4 years, Assistant Professors - up to 5 years, and Tutors - up to 3 years) without any reference to their pensions.
• The contract period may be renewed on candidate’s satisfactory performance and subject to the maximum age limit of 65 years.

Eligibility Conditions

As per the MCI/DCI norms of minimum qualifications of teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations 1998. Candidates are informed that there is no requirement of M Sc candidates for teaching faculty posts notified.

For Professor

• Should be a doctor with Post Graduate Degree in the concerned Medical Specialty recognized by the MCI/DCI
• Should have worked as Associate Professor in the specialty for 4 years in a recognized Medical College
• Candidates having two research publications in indexed journals will be preferred.

For Associate Professor

• Should have worked as Assistant Professor in the Specialty for 5 years in a recognized Medical/Dental College
• Candidates having two research publications in indexed journals will be preferred.
  

For Assistant Professor

•  Should have requisite recognized Post Graduate Qualification in the subject

For Epidemiologist cum Lecturer

•  Should have obtained MD (Community Medicine)

For Tutor/Senior Resident

The following qualifications are required in order of preference:

• Should have obtained recognized degrees of MBBS with PG diploma/degree in concerned specialties, as applicable to the subject
• Should have obtained MBBS from a recognized institution

• Candidates are also required to bring necessary documents (proof of Date of Birth, Community/Social Status/Caste Certificate, Marks list from 1st MBBS/BDS to Final MBBS/BDS and Degree Marks List, MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate, PG Degree/Diploma certificate, Medical/Dental Council Registration of MBBS/BDS and PG Degree/Diploma, Teaching Experience) in original as well as photocopies. One must also get four passport size photographs along with, on the day of interview.
