Doon University has invited application for admissions to various courses, for the academic year 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions :
For Integrated Master's Programmes (5 years)
Bachelor (Hons)/ Master in Communication:
The candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 in any stream/ subject from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks.
Bachelor (Hons)/ Master in Business Administration (MBA):
The candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 in any stream/ subject from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks.
Bachelor (Hons)/ MA in Chinese/ Spanish/ German/ Japanese/ French/ Arabic languages:
The candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 in any stream/ subject from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks.
Bachelor (Hons)/ M.Sc Economics:
The candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 in any stream/ subject from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks and should have a background in quantitative techniques.
BCA/ Masters in Computer Applications:
The candidate should have completed his or her 10+2 in Mathematics from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks.
For Masters Programmes (2 years)
M.Sc. Environmental Science:
The applicant should have done his or her graduation in basic or applied sciences from a recognised university with minimum 50 per cent marks.
M.Sc. E.S. (specialization in NRM):
The applicant should have done his or her graduation in basic or applied sciences from a recognised university with minimum 50 per cent marks.
M.Tech. Environmental Technology:
The candidate should possess a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science or basic or applied science with minimum 50 per marks or a B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology and allied Engineering disciplines.
M.A. Communication:
The applicant should be a graduate in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks.
Master of Business Administration (MBA):
The applicant should be a graduate in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks.
M.A. Economics:
The applicant should be a graduate with at least 50 per cent marks in social sciences/ commerce from a recognised university. Also, a background in quantitative techniques is desirable.
M.A. Social Anthropology:
The applicant must be a graduate in Humanities, Social Sciences, Biological Sciences and Geology with at least 50 per cent marks from a recognised university
M.A. Design in Communication (Film and Graphic Design):
The applicant should be a graduate in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks.
M.A English:
The applicant should be a graduate in any stream of Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities with English as an elective subject from a recognised university with 50 per cent marks.
M.Sc. Mathematics:
The applicant should be a graduate with mathematics as one of the subject and should have scored minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognised board of secondary education.
For M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes
M. Phil. Economics:
The candidate should possess a Masters degree and scored at least 55 per cent marks in the aggregate in Economics from a recognised university.
Ph.D. Environmental Science:
The candidate should possess a Masters degree from a recognised university with minimum 55 per cent of marks or equivalent OGPA in Environmental Science or basic or applied science.
Ph.D. in Communication:
The candidate should possess a Masters degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent OGPA.
Ph.D. in Management:
The candidate should an MBA degree with minimum of 55 percent marks or equivalent OGPA.
For P.G Diploma Programmes
Environment Impact Assessment (PGDEIA):
The applicant should be a graduate from a recognised university in science and engineering disciplines with minimum 50 per cent of marks or equivalent OGPA.
Health and Hospital Management (PGDHM):
The candidate should have completed his or her graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks in Medicine, AYUSH, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Science, Management, Economics or Social Science from a recognized university. Preference will be given to medical and health professionals and staff involved in public health activities at the community, hospital, district or state level organizations/institutions, nominated by government, private, corporate organizations.
Security Management:
The candidate should have completed his or her graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks and below 30 years of age. Ex-serviceman and candidates with NCC certificates will be given preference. Admission is based on entrance test comprising of a written and aptitude test in the month of August.
Selection process:
The candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam, except in case of MBA 2 year programme.
