Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into B.Sc Nursing program for 2012-13. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must be Indian National. The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate I Additional District Magistrate/ Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
  
  
• The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31^st Dec, 2012 (i.e. the candidate should not have been born after 31^st Dec, 1994)
  
  
• The Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English securing minimum 45% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English for admission to B. Sc. Nursing. The Backward Class candidates must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificates along with the application.
  
  
• Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose Results will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.dypatil.ac.in.
  
  
• The fee for the Entrance Test is Rs.1250.
  
  
• The fee is payable by demand draft drawn in favor of “Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University”, from a Nationalized /Scheduled Bank, payable at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai. The candidates should write their full name, address and contact no. on the reverse side of the demand draft.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of the candidates will be based on Nursing All India Entrance Test (NAIET 2012) entrance exam conducted by Dr. D.Y. Patil University.

• The last date for on line registration of on line application forms: 21^st May, 2012 (Saturday)
• Registration of application with late fee of Rs.500/-: 25^th May, 2012 (Tuesday)
• Date and time of entrance test examination: 28^th May, 2012 (Saturday)
