Applications are invited from eligible, efficient and capable candidates for the following positions:

• Librarian Grade II
• Library Assistant 

Note

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Written Examination and Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the written examination. Candidates qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview. 

• Examination schedule and centre address will be intimated to all short-listed candidates, by the selection committee. For complete details regarding the recruitment and eligibility criteria, candidates can visit the official website of ESIC Maharashtra. http://www.esicmaharashtra.gov.in/ 

Eligibility Conditions 

For Librarian Grade II

• Passed Matric qualification from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• Two years Diploma in Library Science from a reputed Institute

For Library Assistant

• Passed Matriculation qualification from a recognized Board / School
  
  
• One year Certificate in Library Science from a reputed Institute 

Required Age

• Candidates should be above the age of 19 years and below the age of 25 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per government norms 

Application Fee: Rs.225 (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / Departmental Candidates / Female Candidates / Ex-Servicemen)

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD / Banker’s Cheque for Rs. 225, drawn from any nationalized / scheduled bank, in favor of “ESIC Saving Account Number II”, payable at Mumbai.
  
  
• Candidates should mention their name, address and post applied for on the reverse side of the DD.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD / Banker’s Cheque, one recent passport size photograph, and attested (by Gazetted Officer) photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to:
