Forest Research Institute, Dehradun has invited application for Admissions to its Master of Science Courses for the academic session 2014.
1. M.Sc Forestry – 38 seats
Eligibility Norm: 3 years Bachelors degree in Science with at least one subject studied in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Maths, Physics, Zoology and Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Forestry.
2. M.Sc Wood Science and Technology -38 seats
Eligibility Norm: B.Sc degree in Forestry, 3 year’s Bachelors degree with Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
3. M.Sc Environment Management -38 seats
Eligibility Norm: 3 year’s Bachelor degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Science or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Agriculture or B.E/B.tech in Environment Science.
4. M.Sc Cellulose and Paper Technology -20 seats
Eligibility Norm: 3 year’s Bachelor degree in science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or B.E/B.Tech (Chemical or Mechanical engineering)
Eligibility in percentage of Marks:
The General candidate must have secured 50 % marks and Scheduled Caste or Schedule Tribe must score 45% marks to be eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure: An online Admission Test would be held various cities across India. And, the admission will be based on the score obtained in this test.
