Applications are invited from eligible and experienced candidates for the posts of Residents for the following positions:

• Senior Residents (Radiology / Biochemistry / Neurology / G.I. Surgery / Cardiology / Psychiatry / Anaesthesia / Gastroenterology / Microbiology / Pathology / Blood Bank / CTVS)
• Junior Residents (All Departments) 

Note

• For the posts of Sr Residents, candidates will be appointed on Ad-hoc / Regular basis for an initial period of one year, which can be extended further for another period of two years. For the post of Jr Residents, candidates will be appointed on temporary basis for an initial period of six months, which can be extended further for a period of one year. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held as follows:
  • 6^th Dec, 2012: Senior Residents (Radiology / Biochemistry / Neurology)
  • 7^th Dec, 2012: Senior Residents (G.I. Surgery / Cardiology / Psychiatry)
  • 10^th Dec, 2012: Senior Residents (Anaesthesia / Gastroenterology / Microbiology)
  • 11^th Dec, 2012: Senior Residents (Pathology / Blood Bank / CTVS)
  • 12^th Dec, 2012: Junior Residents (All Departments)
    
    
• The interview will be held in the Seminar Room, at Academic Block, G.B. Pant Hospital, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, New Delhi - 110002, from 02.00 pm onwards. Eligibility Conditions 

For Senior Residents

• MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in the concerned speciality from arecognized University / Institute
  
  
• Must have registered with Delhi Medical Council

For Junior Residents

• MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Must have registered with Delhi Medical Council

Age Limit

• Candidates should be below the age of 40 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per organization norms 

Application Fee: Rs.300 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.300, drawn from any nationalized bank, in favor of Medical Superintendent, G.B. Pant Hospital, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates should bring complete Application form, with recent passport size photograph, DD, and Original & one set of attested copies of all relevant certificates, along with them.
  
  
• For registration & verification of certificates, candidates should report between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon, on the relevant date of interview, at Seminar Room, GB Pant Hospital.
