Eligibility Cinditions

Directorate of Health Services

For Senior Consultants

  • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • Should have Post Graduate Degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in the specialty concerned
  • Should have worked in a responsible position connected with the Specialty concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma
  • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

For Junior Physician

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    • Should have Post Graduate Degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in the specialty concerned
    • In case of Diploma holders, should have worked in a responsible position connected with the specialty concerned for 2 years after Post Graduate Diploma
    • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

For Public Health Dentist

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Should have obtained a degree qualification included in Part I or Part II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948)
    • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

For Homeopathic Physician

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Should have obtained a degree or diploma of not less than 4 years duration, included in the Homeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 and enrolment on a State Registrar or the Central Registrar of Homeopathy
    • Should have 5 years of Homeopathic practice, preferably in a hospital or dispensary
    • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Qualification in Homeopathy included in the third Schedule to the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (D.F. Hon. M.F. Hon. F.F. Hon.)
    • Should have a degree in Science from any recognized University
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

Directorate Of Museums

For Curator

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Should have obtained at least second class in Master’s degree in Indian History / Archaeology / Arabic / Persian / Museology / Art and Culture / Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit from any recognized University or equivalent
    • Should have one year experience of Curatorial work in a Government Museum or any reputed public Museums of trusts, etc.
    • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Should have diploma in Museology
    • Should have knowledge of Western Architecture
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

Directorate of Social Welfare

District Welfare Officer (North and South)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Should have obtained Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent
    • Should have 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognized Social Welfare Organization
    • Should have knowledge of Konkani
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Should have knowledge of Marathi

Required Age

For all posts: Not more than 40 years
