Applications are invited from qualified, talented and proficient Indian candidates for various posts for the following positions under various projects:

Project No. 1: “Operation of Permanent and Campaign Mode GPS Stations for Quantification of Tectonic Deformation Field in Himalayan Terrain” (sponsored by MoES for 5 years) PI: Er. Kireet Kumar)

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Project Fellow

Project No. 2: “Status Assessment of Endemic, Threatened and High value Medicinal Plants of Cold Desert Areas in Indian Himalayan Region” (CSIR sponsored Project, PI: Dr. K. Chandra Sekar)

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Associate

Project No. 3: “Runoff Modeling and Simulation of Sediment Load of Gangotri Glacier Systems” (DST funded Project, PI: Dr. Rajesh Joshi)

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Project Assistant 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on temporary basis till a period of completion of the project. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on 3^rd May, 2013. 

• The interview will be held at G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development Campus, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora (Uttarakhand), from 11.00 am onwards. How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in Interview.
  
  
• The interview is scheduled to be held on 3^rd May, 2013, at G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development Campus, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora (Uttarakhand), from 11.00 am onwards.
