Applications are invited from eligible, capable and proficient candidates for the following posts:

• Junior Research Fellow
• Senior Research Fellow 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done for the DBT scheme of C-PHZ-1-Misc. “DBT Network Project on Brucellosis”, under School of Public Health and Zoonoses, GADVASU, Ludhiana. The recruitment is to be done on temporary basis for a period of six months, which can be extended further as per candidate’s performance. 

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on 26^th Mar, 2013, in the Office of the Director, School of Public Health and Zoonoses, GADVASU, Ludhiana, at 11.00 am onwards. Eligibility Conditions

For Junior Research Fellow

• BV Sc & AH Degree or B.Sc Degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences / Biological Sciences with at least 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Master’s Degree in any branch of Veterinary Science or any other relevant branch of Life Science / Biological Science with an overall credit point average of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks & above from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Good knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level

For Senior Research Fellow

• BV Sc & AH Degree or B.Sc Degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences / Biological Sciences with at least 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Master’s Degree in any branch of Veterinary Science or any other relevant branch of Life Science / Biological Science with an overall credit point average of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks & above from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of research experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Good knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.
  
  
• The interview is scheduled to be held on 26^th Mar, 2013, in the Office of the Director, School of Public Health and Zoonoses, GADVASU, Ludhiana, at 11.00 am onwards.
  
  
• Candidates appearing for the interview should bring their detailed Bio-data, along with recent passport size photograph, and Original and one set of attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents, with them.
