Applications are invited from experienced and competent Indian candidates for the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division). 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of HP Judicial Service Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2013, followed by Main Examination and Viva Voce.The HP Judicial Service Competitive (Preliminary) Examination is scheduled to be held on 12^th May, 2013 and the Main Examination will be held from 15^th Jul, 2013 to 18^th Jul, 2013. 

• The examination will be conducted at Shimla and Dharamsala centers. The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s admit card. Candidates qualified in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. 

• Candidates can register online by visiting the official website of HPPSC: http://www.hp.gov.in/hppscoafs/Default.aspx. The last date for online registration is 1^st Mar, 2013. Eligibility Conditions 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a Bar Council of India (BCI)
  
  
• Should have knowledge of Customs, Manners and Dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State of Himachal Pradesh 

Age Limit

• Candidates should be above the age of 22 years and below the age of 30 years
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OPRC candidates provided as per government norms 

Application Fee

• Rs.250: General / Others
• Rs.63: SC / ST / OPRC 

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can fill the online application form by visiting the official link of HPPSC: http://hp.gov.in/hppscoafs/Default.aspx
  
  
• The last date for online registration is 1^st Mar, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates must have a valid Email ID for applying online.
  
  
• After filling up all the details, candidates have to click on the "I accept Submit Application Form" button. Once the application form is submitted, an E-Challan will be generated, using which, candidates can pay the application fee at any branch of Punjab National Bank.
  
  
• After paying the application fee through Challan, the bank will generate a Transaction ID, Branch Code No and Date of Remittance, which should be filled by the candidates in the online application form for completing their form.
  
  
• Before filling the online form, candidates should scan their passport-size photograph and signature as it is mandatory for completion of the form.
  
  
• After successful submission of application form, the system will generate a complete online application form. One has to take a printout of the computer generated application form on A4 size sheet for further communication process.
  
  
• Printed Application Form, along with the attested photocopies of all the requisite certificates, should be submitted to the:

• Candidates should mention “Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination, 2013” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
