Age Limit

The age of the candidate applying for the position of Security Officer Grade “B” should not less than 25 years and should not more than 35 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1st January 2016.

Qualification

Candidates should have graduation from recognised university or equivalent. Candidate should have 5 year commissioned service in Army / Navy / Air Force or a police officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police /Deputy Superintendent of Police with Minimum 5 year of service or officers of identical rank in para –military forces with minimum 5 year service.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be on the basis of personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates applying for the position of Security Officer Grade “B” in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Experience

Candidates should have 5 year commissioned service in Army / Navy / Air Force or a police officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police /Deputy Superintendent of Police with Minimum 5 year of service or officers of identical rank in para –military forces with minimum 5 year service.

Application fee

Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs.100/- for Schedule caste categories candidates(SC) / Schedule tribe categories candidates (ST) / Person with Disabilities categories candidates (PWD) and Rs.600/- for all others categories candidates. The payment can be mde using only by bank Challan.
