Eligibility Conditions

For M.Tech

• BE/BTech in Engineering (any branch including CS/IT/ECE/EEE/Civil/Instrumentation/Biotechnology) or B.Arch or Master’s degree in Science / Maths / IT / Computer Science or MCA. 

For M.S. Research

• BE/BTech in Engineering (any branch including CS/IT/ECE/EEE/Civil/Instrumentation/Biotechnology) or B.Arch or Master’s degree in Science / Maths / IT / Computer Science or MCA. All who have completed (or going to complete by July 2018) M.E/M.Tech. 

For PhD

• All who are eligible to apply for M.Tech Program are also eligible to apply for PhD Program; all who have completed (or going to complete by July 2018) ME/M.Tech. 

Selection Procedure

• Admission to Postgraduate programs will be based on the performance in the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE 2018) and an interview to be held at IIIT Hyderabad.

Application Form

• Applicants can apply online (www.iiit.ac.in) 

• All applications should be submitted through online in PGEE portal. To submit the application, an applicant has to complete 2 registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form. 

• Filling of Pre-Registration Form. Online payment is recommended. After filling the Pre-Registration form, the applicant receives an E-mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form. 

Application Fees

• Applicants can apply for one or more programmes in the same form by indicating choices. The application fee is Rs.2000/- for one program and Rs.50/- extra for each additional program applied for; application fee can be paid either through Credit Card or through Demand Draft (DD). 

• Demand Draft (DD) in favor of IIIT Hyderabad for appropriate amount should be drawn. Applicant must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the

• Application Portal for PG Mode Opens: 10^th Feb, 2018
• Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 21^st Mar, 2018
• Date of Entrance Examination: 21^st Apr, 2018 (Saturday) 

Time of Exam: 10:00 AM – 01:00 PM (Fully Computer-based Exam)
