The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has invited applications for its full time and part time:
- Master of Science (MS by Research) and
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme
offered in various specializations for the academic session 2017.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
For PhD Programmes:
Aspiring candidates must be holding 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA on a 10-point scale in MTech/ME/MD /MSc/MBA/MA/ MBBS or 70 per cent marks or 7.5 CGPA on a 10-point in BE/BTech or equivalent scale.
For MS programmes:
Aspiring candidates must have pursued BE/BTech/MSc or equivalent with 75%marks or 8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
Financial Assistance:
For PhD:
Candidates will receive Rs 25,000 per month for the first two years of registration (JRF) and Rs 28,000 per month for the next three years of registration (SRF).
For MS:
Students admitted to MS (research) programmes on full-time basis are considered for the award of teaching assistant-ship, under which they will be paid Rs 12,400/ per month and would be required to provide assistance of 8 hours/week to the department/centre/school.
Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis a test/interview conducted by the institute.
