Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the BRNS Project, for recruitment 2011. 

Note : Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the personal interview. The recruitment is to be done purely on the temporary basis initially for period of 9 months

Eligibility Conditions:

• M Sc / Equivalent Degree with valid GATE / UGC-NET

• Application neatly typed on plain paper including name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, rank, year of passing), community and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach to Prof Indrapal Singh Aidhen, Project Co-Ordinator, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai – 600 036, latest by 15^th Sept, 2011
• Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras must send their application through the Co-ordinator of the project
• Candidates will be eligible for House Rent Allowance as per Institute norms, subject to eligibility.
