Applications are invited from eligible, talented and experienced Meritorious Sports Persons for the following positions:

Note

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Written Examination, Personality Test and Field Trials. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the written test. The examination will be held at Hyderabad centre.

Eligibility Conditions

For Income-tax Inspectors (PB-II)

Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University
Should have participated in National / International Competition or Tournament in the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, in any of the sports i.e., Athletics / Badminton / Chess / Cricket (Men) / Hockey (Men), Table Tennis and Volley Ball (Men)

For Stenographers Grade II (PB-I)

Passed Intermediate or 12th Standard from a recognized University / Institute
Should have participated in National / International Competition or Tournament in the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, in any of the sports i.e., Athletics / Badminton / Chess / Cricket (Men) / Hockey (Men), Table Tennis and Volley Ball (Men)

For Tax Assistant (PB-I)

Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University
Should have participated in National / International Competition or Tournament in the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, in any of the sports i.e., Athletics / Badminton / Chess / Cricket (Men) / Hockey (Men), Table Tennis and Volley Ball (Men)

For Multi Tasking Staff (PB-I)

Passed Matriculation or its qualification from a recognized Board / University
Should have participated in National / International Competition or Tournament in the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, in any of the sports i.e., Athletics / Badminton / Chess / Cricket (Men) / Hockey (Men), Table Tennis and Volley Ball (Men)

Age Limit

18-27 years: Income-tax Inspectors / Stenographers
18-25 years: Tax Assistants / Multi Tasking Staff
Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / Department candidates provided as per organization norms

Application Fee: Rs.100 (Exempted for SC / ST / Women candidates)

How to Apply

Willing candidates can download the application format from the official link of Income Tax Department: http://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/home.asp
Candidates can also obtain the application form from the Office of PRO, Income-tax Towers, AC Guards, Hyderabad, and office of PRO, Aayakar Bhavan, Dabagardens, Visakhapatnam.
For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD / Bankers Cheque for Rs.100, drawn in favor “ZAO, CBDT, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad.
Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with four recent passport-size photographs (of which one should be affixed on the application form), DD / Banker’s Cheque, one self-addressed post card, and attested (by Gazetted Officer) copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to:
