Applications are invited from eligible and dynamic Indian candidates for the post of Environmental Development Specialist as Consultant.

Note

• The recruitment is to be done on contractual basis for a period of one year, which can be extended up to a period of another one year. 
• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of academic qualification, working experience and personal interview.
• Candidates selected by the screening committee will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
• Candidates having Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Doctorate Degree in Environmental Sciences will be preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the relevant field
• Should have ability to interact with project personnel to collect, synthesize, study & analyze the information to prepare DDR
• Should have ability to review compliance of the projects’ documentation with reference to Environmental Safeguards within the ESSF of IIFCL from time to time to check adequacy
• Should have knowledge of environmental aspects related to infrastructure projects like Roads, Ports, Power, Airports etc.
• Should have knowledge of World Bank / ADB environmental social safeguards and Govt. of India rules and regulations related to Environmental, Forests and Wild Life
• Should have domain knowledge of Infrastructure Projects
• Should have good communication skills in written and verbal English
