Applications are invited from young, talented and dynamic Indian male and female candidates for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 02/2013, for recruitment. Candidates’ appointment is to be done as Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches courses commencing from July 2014. The appointment is to be done for the following courses:

For Male Candidates

Flying Branch

• No. 14 Short Service Commission (14 SSC) Course

Technical Branch

• No. 85 Aeronautical Engineers (85 AEC) Course (Permanent Commission)
• No. 57 Short Service Commission (57 SSC) Course

Ground Duty Branch

• No. 136 Ground Duty Officers (136 GDOC) Course (Permanent Commission)
• No. 29 Short Service Commission (29 SSC) Course

For Female Candidates

Flying Branch

• No. 43 Short Service Commission (43 SSC) Course

Technical Branch

• No. 57 Short Service Commission (57 SSC) Course

Ground Duty Branch

• No. 45 Short Service Commission (45 SSC) Course 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of AFCAT, followed by Stage I Test (Intelligence Test), and Stage II Test (Psychological Test, Group Tests & Interview or Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) only for Flying Branch). AFCAT is scheduled to be held on 25^th Aug, 2013. The test schedule and examination centre will be mentioned in the candidate’s admit card. 

• The test will be held at Ambala, Palampur, Amritsar, Allahabad, Agra, Aizwal, Ahmedabad, Barnala, Bathinda, Bengaluru, Belgaum, Bidar, Bagdogra, Bareilly, Chandigarh, Chabua, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Darbhanga, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Halwara, Hashimara, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Jorhat, Jaipur, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kharagpur, Kochi, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mohanbari, Mysore, Nal (Bikaner), Nagpur, Ojhar (Nashik), Pathankot, Patna, Pune, Port Blair, Srinagar, Suratgarh, Sirsa, Saharanpur, Shillong, Silchar, Sulur (Coimbatore), Thane, Tezpur, Thanjavur, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodara and Varanasi centers.
