INDIAN ARMY invites applications for 111th Technical Graduate Course (July 2010), 35th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men and 6th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women Course (Oct-2010)
1. For 111th Technical Graduates Course applications are invited from Engineering Graduates Married/Unmarried Male Indian citizens including temporary Central/State Govt. Servants, serving personnel of the regular Army and Territorial Army for grant of permanent commission to the Indian Army.
2. For 35th SSC(T) and 6th SSC(T)women applications are invited from Married/Unmarried male and unmarried females and widow of defense personals
Educational Qualification For 111-TGC candidate should have passed the Technical degree in the relevant field.(Appearing candidates need not apply)
For 35th SSC(T) men and 6th SSC(T) women candidate studying in the final year of Technical degree can also apply.
Age: 20yrs to 27 yrs.
Other Eligibility Conditions Nationality Indian or a subject of India as described by the constitution of India for various defense services.
Physical Standards Height and Weight: For men minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm with correlated weight.
For women minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm and 42 kg of weight.
Visual Standard The minimum acceptable visual acuity are Distant Vision corrected –better by 6/6 and Myopia of not more than minus 1.5.
Selection Process Short listed candidates will be invited to any of the Selection Board for SSB interviews followed by Medical Checkup of the successful candidates.
