Applications are invited from eligible and skillful Indian candidates for the posts of Junior Commissioned Officer as Religious Teacher, for RRT 72 & 73 Course. 

Note

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Written Test (Paper I & Paper II), followed by Interview and Medical Examination. Candidates qualified in the written test will be called for the interview. The written test is scheduled to be held on 30^th Jun, 2013. The recruitment rally will be held at HQ Recruiting Zones, IRO Delhi Cantt, Ladakh Scout Regt Centre Leh, and JAKLI Regt Centre Srinagar. 

• Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the test. The test schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter. Eligibility Conditions 

For Pandit

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Must have qualified Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or its equivalent standard
  
  
• Candidates, who have passed BA with Sanskrit / Hindi as one of the elective (Main) subjects, but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi, can also apply for the post.

For Maulvi

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Must have qualified as Maulvi Alim in Arabic / Adib Alim in Urdu or its equivalent standard
  
  
• Candidates, who have passed BA with Arabic / Urdu as one of the elective (Main) subject, but have not done Maulvi Alim in Arabic / Adib Alim in Urdu, can also apply for the post.

For Padre

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should be an ordained priest by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority, and is still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
  
  
• Physical Standards:
  • Height: 160 cm
  • Weight: 50 Kg
  • Chest: 77 cm

Age Limit

• 27-34 years: Civilian candidates
• 25-34 years: Remustered candidates

• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with affix passport-size photograph, and attested copies of the relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to the relevant Headquarters Recruiting Zones / Concerned Regimental / Centers address, by post latest by 25^th Apr, 2013.
  
  
• Candidates should mention “APPLICATION FOR JCO (RT) COURSE NO 72 & 73” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
