Indian Bank invites applications for Probationary Officers (PO) from the those qualifying in IBPS Common PO Exam conducted in Sep 2011.

Eligibility Conditions

Age has to be between 21-30 yrs as on 01.07.2011 (Age Limit relaxed as 5 - SC/ST, 3 - OBC, 10 - PWD),
Should have completed graduation with Minimum 55% Marks (50 % for OBC/SC/ST/PWD).
Only those that have qualified in the IBPS Common PO exam conducted in September 2011 are eligible to apply along with minimum score requirement as follows.
Required Minimum IBPS Score :-
- For General Category :- Total Weighted Score (TWS) - 141 Marks and Minimum 24 Marks in Each subject,
- For OBC/SC/ST/PWD Category :- Total Weighted Score (TWS) - 116 Marks and Minimum 21 Marks in Each subject,
Candidates in Final year of graduation may not apply (Graduation must be completed by 01.07.2011) .
Basic Knowledge in computers is required.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be called for Group Discussion and/or Interview on the basis of vacancies and Marks obtained in IBPS PO CWE Exam 2011. Final selection will be made on the basis of overall performance (IBPS CWE + GD/Interview).,
On Final selection, Candidates will have to sign a service Bond for probation period of Two years worth Rs. 1 Lakh.

Application Procedure

The fee for this Application is Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.200/- for Others (GEN/OBC).
Payment to be made at any Branch of Indian Bank by This Payment Challan. Collect the candidate's copy of receipt and make sure it has Deposit Journal Number, Branch Name, Branch Code and Date of Remittance mentioned on it.
Application then to be made online with properly filled details. Note down Registration Number and Password and keep the payment challan safe.
Take two application form prints for future reference. Sign it and paste a photo in the provided space.
If Called for GD and Interview, following Documents are to be carried (Copies should be self-Attested):-
- Original fee payment receipt (CBS Challan)
- IBPS CWE Score card.
- Online Application form submitted to IBPS for PO CWE SEP-2011 and Indian Bank application print-outs and GD - Interview Call Letter.
- Age Certificate and Cast Certificates (as applicable).
- Attested copies of Educational Qualifications.
- A Photo identity proof ( PAN Card / Passport / Driving Licence / Voters Card / Bank Pass Book etc. ).
Call letters for Interview and GD Phase will be sent by e-mail to the shortlisted candidates. Call letter may also be downloaded from Indian Bank's Website.
