Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur Invites Applications for Admission into UG and PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various under graduate and post graduate programs 2012-13.

Eligibility Conditions

For UG

Candidate has to pass 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
Students appearing in the qualifying examination in the year 2012 are also eligible.

For PG

Candidate should have a recognized degree or diploma in Architecture/Design, Fashion/Fine Art, Home Science in Textiles and Clothing.
Artisan’s child/ward with 5 years direct work experience in hereditary traditional craft, having cleared Senior Higher Secondary Board Examination is eligible to apply.
Graduates in any discipline with an aptitude towards craft, fashion or design are eligible to apply.
Students appearing in the qualifying examination in the year 2012 are also eligible.

How to Apply

The application form for admission 2012-13 sessions can be downloaded from IICD website: “www.iicd.ac.in”. The cost of prospectus/application form is Rs.300. Prospectus/application form can also be obtained by hand from IICD, Jaipur on or before 10^th May, 2012.
Prospectus/application form can be obtained by post on or before 10^th May, 2012 from Admissions Office, IICD, Jaipur by sending a demand draft of Rs.300 drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of ‘Indian Institute of Craft & Design’ payable at Jaipur and a self addressed envelope of 9” x 12” size with Rs. 40 stamps affixed. The envelope should be marked with ‘IICD Admissions 2012’.
Fill up the application form. Enclose the attested mark sheet/ grade sheet/certificates of 12^th or final year college examination. Affix your passport size photograph in the space provided and attach the demand draft of requisite amount with the application form. On the back of demand draft please write your name and program applied.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be based on IICD entrance exam conducted by Indian Institute of Crafts and Design.

Last date for receiving the completed application forms at IICD is: 10^th May, 2012 (Thursday)
