Note
- Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written test / practical test / presentation and interview.
- Candidates qualified in the test will be called for the interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test.

Eligibility Conditions
For Medical Officer (IIT Hospital)
- MBBS Degree from a recognized Institute with complete compulsory Rotatory Internship
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a recognized Hospital
Or
Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine with minimum one year of working experience in a recognized Hospital
Or
MD or MS Degree in a relevant branch of Medicine
- Candidates, who have Diploma / MD / MS in Medicine / Chest Diseases / Pediatrics / Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Family Medicine, will be preferred.
For Junior Technical Superintendent (Department of Textile Technology-Central Facility)
- M.Sc Degree in Physics / Chemistry or B Tech / BE Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or B Sc Degree in Physics / Chemistry with minimum 2 years of working experience in characterization of materials
- Working experience in Electron Microscopy / NMR Spectroscopy / IR Spectroscopy / Thermal Characterization, etc., is desirable.
- Good working knowledge of Computer Applications
For Junior Technical Superintendent (Hindi Cell)
- Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognized University with English as a subject at the degree level or Master’s Degree in English from a recognized University with Hindi as a subject at the degree level, with minimum one year of experience in Translation
Or
Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as a main subject from a recognized University with minimum 3 years of experience in Translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa in Central / State Govt. Offices / PSU
- Good working knowledge of Computer Applications
For Nurse (IIT Hospital)
- Passed Intermediate or 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board
- Must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council
- Three years of Course in General Nursing and Mid-wifery
- B.Sc Degree in Nursing with ‘A’ grade Nursing Certificate
- Should have registered with Nursing Council
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant field is desirable.
For P.T.I. (Female) (Sports Unit)
- Bachelor of Physical Education (B P Ed) Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / Institute
- Master’s Degree of Physical Education with minimum one year of Inter University participation is desirable.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the relevant field
- Should have done Computer course in MS Word, Excel, etc. from a reputed Institute
For Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum one year of working experience in the relevant field
Or
Diploma in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum three years of working experience in the relevant field
For Junior Laboratory Assistant (Department of Chemistry / Department of Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology / Department of Mechanical Engineering / Department of Management Studies
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field or three years of Diplomain Engineering in the relevant field discipline from a recognized University / Institute
- Good working knowledge of Computer Applications
- Relevant years of working experience in the field
Required Age
- 32 years: Junior Technical Superintendent, Nurse, P.T.I., Junior Engineer
- 27 years: Junior Laboratory Assistant
- Age relaxation for OBC / SC / ST candidates provided as per government norms.
Application Fee
- Rs.100 For Medical Officer
- Rs.50 For remaining positions
- Exempted for SC / ST candidates

- Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the application format from the official link of IIT Delhi: http://www.iitd.ac.in/content/non-academic.
- Candidates can also obtain the application form from the institute counter in-person or by sending a self-addressed envelope (28 cm x 12 cm), with stamps of Rs.10 on it, to the Superintendent (Recruitment Cell, Room No. MZ - 113), IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016 by super-scribing “Request for Application Form· Advertisement No. E-II / 04 / 2012 (E)” on the envelope, before 10 days from the last date of receiving the filled application form.
- For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs.100 / Rs.50, drawn in favor of Registrar, IIT Delhi, payable at New Delhi.
- Application for, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD, passport-size photograph and attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to the Superintendent (Recruitment Cell, Room No. MZ - 113), IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, by post on or before 11th May, 2012.
- Candidates should mention “Application for the post of ________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
