Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Admission into following programs for 2014

• PhD in Cognitive Science
• PhD in Earth Sciences
• PhD in History
• PhD in Language & Literature
• PhD in Mathematics
• PhD in Philosophy
• PhD in Physics
• PhD in Political Science
• PhD in Psychology
• PhD in Social Epidemiology
• PhD in Sociology

Eligibility Conditions

• At least 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks in MA/M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. Above mentioned eligibility criteria is minimum at institute level.

How to Apply

• All applications must be submitted online.
• If you are applying for more than one discipline, please submit a separate application form for each discipline.
• A soft copy of the submitted application will be sent to given email ID.
• You need to furnish hardcopy of the application form with photograph and all the documentary evidence in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience and research/professional experience) at the time of interview.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• There is no application fee.

Selection Procedure

• Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary.
• The institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records, SOP, etc.
• The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.

• For Phase I: 20^th Feb, 2014 (Thursaday)
