Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Engineering Program

Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Medical Sciences/Veterinary Sciences/Pharmacy in a relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

For Ph.D in Design Program

M.Arch/M.Des degree or M.Tech/ME degree in a relevant area, with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

For Ph.D in Science Program

Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Design in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

For Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences Program

Master’s degree in Arts/Commerce/Science in a relevant area with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.

Selection Procedure

The institute reserves the right to call a limited number of candidates for written test and/or interview/portfolio review, if required, based on performance in GATE/ NET/ CEED/ INSPIRE, grades/marks in the qualifying examination, etc.
