All the eligible candidates are invited for the post of Project Technician. The recruitment is being done for a DBT Sponsored Project entitled “Structural Basis for the Maturation of Prokaryotic siRNA” conducted at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati.

Note

• The appointment will be on contract basis, initially for one year, which can be extended as per candidate performance.
•  Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of walk-in-interview. The interview is scheduled to be conducted on  22^nd Dec, 2011 (Thursday) at 10.00 am at the conference room of Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati - 781 039.

Eligibility Conditions

• Should have obtained M Sc / M Tech / B Tech in Biotechnology / Life sciences / Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum 60% marks
• Candidates having experience in macromolecular crystallography would be preferred but is not an essential requirement.
• Candidates with prior experience in cloning, over expression and protein purification are highly encouraged to apply.

Should be less than 28 years

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview, scheduled to be held on December 22, 2011 (Thursday) at 10.00 am at the conference room of Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati - 781 039.
• Candidates should bring a bio-data giving all educational qualifications and experiences (if any) in detail, all original certificates (& photocopies) and two passport-size photographs along with them, on the day of walk-in interview.
