Applications are invited from qualified and skillful candidates for various Non-Teaching posts for the following positions:

Note

Appointment of the candidates is to be done on contract basis for a period of five years. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in academics, working experience, written test / trade test and interview.

Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the written test / trade test. The test schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates. Eligibility Conditions

For Medical Officer (Female)

For Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 5 years of field experience in a Govt. Department / Private Agencies / PSU
Or
Three years of Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 12 years of work experience in the relevant field
Working knowledge of the peculiar condition prevailing in the hilly region for construction and maintenance of building works is desirable.

For Junior Engineer (Civil)

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum one year of field experience in a Govt. Department / Private Agencies / PSU
Or
Three years of Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum three years of work experience in the relevant field
Working knowledge of the peculiar condition prevailing in the hilly region for construction and maintenance of building works is desirable.

For Junior Hindi Translator

Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognized University / Institute
Bachelor’s Degree with English as compulsory subject from recognized University / Institute
Minimum one year of Translation experience is desirable.
Should have working knowledge of Computer Applications in Hindi and English languages

Required Age

Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.
Age relaxation for OBC / SC / ST / PWD candidates will be provided as per government norms

Candidates can also obtain the application form directly from the office of the Registrar, IIT Mandi, or by sending a self-addressed envelope (10 cm x 4 cm), with affixed stamp of Rs.10, mentioning Request for Application Form-Advertisement No. on it, to Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Old PWD Rest House, Near Bus Stand, Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) - 175001.
For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.100, drawn in favor of Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, payable at State Bank of India, IIT Mandi Branch (SBIN 0000676).
Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with latest passport-size photograph, DD and attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to:
