Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions in Administration and Technical Cadre.

• Assistant Security Officer
• Junior Superintendent
• Junior Technical Superintendent
• Assistant Coach
• Junior Assistant 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment will be done on regular / deputation / contract basis for a period of five years. Further extension will be given to candidates after scrutinizing their performance during the job. 

• Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in written test / trade test and / or interview, to be conducted by the recruitment panel of IIT Kanpur. For interview, candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their academic and professional qualifications. 

• The recruitment panel of IIT Kanpur will intimate the date and venue of the interview to all short-listed candidates. For more information regarding the recruitment, candidates can visit the official website of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK): http://www.iitk.ac.in/.

• Required qualifications as per the norms prescribed by IIT Kanpur.

How to Apply

• Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply through the prescribed application form obtainable (free) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).
  
  
• In addition, the application form can also be obtained by post on sending a self-addressed envelope of 28 cm X 12 cm size affixing with postage stamp of Rs.10, to the Registrar, (Attn), Recruitment Section, Room No 224, 2nd Floor (Faculty Building), IIT Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh - 208016.
  
  
• Application form can also be downloaded from the official website of IIT Kanpur: http://www.iitk.ac.in. The direct link for the same is: www.iitk.ac.in/infocell/recruitment.
  
  
• For paying the application fee, candidates should obtain a Demand Draft (DD) of requisite amount drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of The Registrar, IIT Kanpur, payable at Kanpur.
  
  
• The duly filled-in application form or the hard copy of the downloaded form complete in all respects, along with the DD and photocopies of all requisite documents should be sent to the:
