 Applications are invited from well-educated and eligible candidates for the following positions:

• Principal Project Officer / Principal Scientist
• Senior Project Officer / Senior Scientist
• Project Officer / Scientist
• Research Associate
• Project Technician

Note

• The appointment is to be done on contractual basis for a period of one year, which can be extended for a period of five years.
• The appointment is to be done for the DST project “Thematic Unit of Excellence on Water Purification using Nanotechnology” under the Department of Chemistry.
• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of personal interview.
• The schedule of interview will be announced later.

Eligibility Conditions

For Principal Project Officer / Principal Scientist & Senior Project Officer / Senior Scientist

• PhD Degree in Engineering / Science / Humanities / Management from a recognized University / Institute Or
• M Tech / ME Degree from a recognized University / Institute Or
• B Tech / BE / Master’s Degree in Science / Humanities / Management from a recognized University / Institute
• Required years of working experience in the relevant field

For Project Officer / Scientist

• ME / M Tech Degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA and above from a recognized University / Institute Or
• B Tech / BE / AMIE / Master’s Degree in Science or Humanities / Management or MCA Degree from a recognized University / Institute
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field

For Research Associate

• PhD Degree from a recognized University / Institute

For Project Technician

• Diploma in the relevant Engineering Field from a recognized University / Institute
• ITI Certificate in the relevant Trade from a recognized Institute
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant field

Required Age

    Candidates should be below the age of 28 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST candidates).
