Applications are invited from qualified and knowledgeable aspirants for the post of Project Assistant. 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done for the project code ‘10DBT005’ and project name “Proteomic Analysis of Human Gliomas for Biomarker Discovery”, under Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering. Candidate’s recruitment is to be done on temporary basis for a period of one year, which can be extended till the completion of the project. 

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions

• M.Sc Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Immunology or MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have experience in handling and maintenance of cancer cell lines, tissue and clinical samples
  
  
• Minimum one year of work experience in the relevant field, and have good command over usage of techniques like 2D-DIGE, Western Blot, Proteomic Analysis, Immuno-histochemistry and PCR
  
  
• Should have valid JRF / GATE Score with above 90 percentile
  
  
• Should have strong evidence of Scientific Writing, and have good Communication Skills
