Applications are invited from young, talented, qualified and competent Indian candidates for Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerical Cadre II, for recruitment 2012. 

Note

  • IBPS, on behalf of 20 public sector banks, is organizing Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment, for the posts of Clerical Cadre. The public sector banks participating in the CWE Exam are Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, and Vijaya Bank. 
  • Interested candidates, who want to enroll in the banks' recruitment process for clerical cadre, have to appear in the CWE Clerical Cadre II 2012. The online written test is scheduled to be held in the month of December 2012. The online written test will be conducted at various centers / cities, elected by the IBPS Committee. The examination schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter. 
  • Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/html/CWE_CL_II.htm. Online registration began from 15th Oct, 2012 and will close on 5th Nov, 2012. Eligibility Conditions 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University

  • Must have operating and working knowledge of Computer Applications, with Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer Operations / Language or have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute

  • Should have proficiency in the Official Language of the State / UT (read, write & speak) 

Required Age

  • Candidates should be above the age of 20 years and below the age of 28 years.
  • Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EXS candidates provided as per government norms

 Application Fee

  • Rs.400: General / Others candidates
  • Rs.50: SC / ST / PWD / EXSM candidates 

How to Apply

  • Candidates, willing to apply for the CWE, must have a valid Email ID for applying online.

  • For filling the online application form, candidates can register online by visiting the official link of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/html/CWE_CL_II.htm

  • Before applying online for the aforementioned examination, candidates are required to scan their photograph and signature for filling the online application form, as it is mandatory.

  • Candidates can make the payment of the application fees of Rs.400 / Rs.50, through both online & offline mode.

  • Candidates can make the payment of application fees from 15th Oct, 2012 till 5th Nov, 2012 for Online Mode, and for Offline Mode, candidates can pay the fees amount from 17th Oct, 2012 till 9th Nov, 2012.

  • For the online mode of fee payment, candidates are required to have the Master / Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. While making the online fee payment, candidates need to fill the details of Master / Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking.

  • For offline mode of fee payment, candidates can make fee payment through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS.

  • Candidates, in offline mode of payment, can make the payment in any CBS branches of 7 Public Sector Banks i.e., Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank and United Bank of India.

  • After making fee payment through CBS branches, candidates should the collect the candidates’ copy of fee payment cash voucher receipt, as its details will be required to fill in the online application form, for its completion.

  • After successful submission of online application form, the system will generate a complete online application form, which candidates should print out and use for the further process.

  • Candidates can download their Call Letter from the official website of IBPS, from 3rd Dec, 2012 onwards.
