All the eligible and interested candidates are invited for Common Written Examination (CWE), for Specialist Officers recruitment as follows:

• IBPS, on behalf of 19 public sector banks, is organizing Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment, for the posts of Clerical Cadre. The public sector banks participating in the CWE Exam are Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, United Bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, Indian Bank.
• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of a Written Test, followed by Personal Interview (PI). The date of Written Test has been tentatively fixed for March 11, 2012 (Sunday). However, the date of exam will be intimated in the call letter along with the Centre/Venue address.
• The written exam will be held at Port Blair, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Patna, Raipur, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Shimla, Jammu, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Thiruvanathapuram, Kavarrati, Bhopal, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Puducherry, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Dehradun, and Kolkata. Examination centre and address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

  Interested candidates have to follow the prescribed format mentioned on the official website of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/. Applicants are requested to follow all the terms and conditions mentioned in the official website. Candidates must apply within the time period mentioned above. Candidates who do not fill their application forms as per the prescribed format, and are found ineligible, will be disqualified. Candidates can register online by visiting the official website of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/. The online registration began from December 30, 2011 and close on January 21, 2012. Eligibility Conditions

For IT Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation, or
• Should have obtained Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications from any recognized University / Institution, or
• Should have obtained Graduation from any recognized University and have passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

For Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained Degree in Agriculture or allied specializations such as Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Agriculture Engineering / Fishery Science / Pisciculture / Agri Marketing & Cooperation etc. from a recognized University

For Rajsabha Adhikari (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level, or
• Should have obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at degree level

For Law Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from any recognized University

For Technical Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained Degree in Engineering in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Computer Science / Information Technology / Textile / Chemical etc. / B Pharm, from any recognized University

For HR / Personnel Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained Graduation from any recognized University and Post Graduate Degree or Diploma recognized by AICTE in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / HRD /Social Work / Labour Law, or
• Should have obtained Degree / Diploma in Business Administration / Management with specialization in HRD from any recognized University

For Marketing Officer (Scale-I)

• Should have obtained MBA (Marketing) / 2 years PGDBA / PGDBM or any other equivalent degree or diploma with specialization in Marketing from any recognized University / Institution

For IT Officer (Scale-II)

• Should have obtained Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation, or
• Should have obtained Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications from any recognized University / Institution, or
• Should have obtained Graduation from any recognized University and have passed DOEACC ‘B’ level
• Should have minimum 1 year post qualification experience (as on December 1, 2011)

For Law Officer (Scale-II)

• Should have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
• Should have minimum 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and / or Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central / State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar (as on December 1, 2011)

Required Age

• For IT Officer (Scale-I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I), Rajsabha Adhikari (Scale-I), Law Officer (Scale-I), Technical Officer (Scale-I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I), Marketing Officer (Scale-I) - Minimum 20 years, Maximum 35 years
• For IT Officer (Scale-II) and Law Officer (Scale-II) - Minimum 21 years, Maximum 40 years

Application Fee: Rs 450/- (All others), Rs 50/- (SC / ST / PWD / Ex-Servicemen)

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply for the recruitment test, are required to register their candidature by filling in the online application form by logging onto the official website of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/

• Before applying online for the aforementioned examination, candidates are required to scan their photograph and signature for filling the online application form, as it is mandatory.
• Candidates can make payment of the application fees of Rs 450 / Rs 50, both online & offline mode as per the method mentioned on the website. Candidates can make payment of application fees from December 29, 2011 till January 20, 2012. The fee can either be paid online using only Master / Visa Debit or Credit Cards or Internet Banking (online mode) or by remitting the fee using the challan (downloadable from the website) in any CBS branches of the banks mentioned on the website.
• After making the fee payment, candidates can fill the online application form by entering the required details (fee payment etc).
• The online application form should be filled in the prescribed format and completely, or else it will not be acceptable and the candidate will be assumed as disqualified.
• Candidates can edit the mentioned information in the application form till January 23, 2012 (if required).
