Eligibility Conditions
For Officer Scale III
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as an Officer in any Bank / Financial Institutions
- Should have proficiency in local language
- Must have local language as one of the main subjects at Matriculation / SSC / Graduation or its equivalent level
For Officer Scale II
- Chartered Accountant: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
Or
Marketing Officer: Master’s Degree in Marketing from a recognized University / Institute
Or
Treasury Manager: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Master’s Degree in Finance from a recognized University / Institute
Or
Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy Science / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute - Minimum one year of working experience in the relevant field
- Should have proficiency in local language

For Officer Scale I

- Officer (Scale I / II / III): Rs.450 (General / Others) & Rs.50 (SC / ST / PWD candidates)
- Office Assistants: Rs.350 (General / Others) & Rs.50 (SC / ST / PWD candidates)
How to Apply
- Candidates, willing to apply for the CWE, must have valid Email ID for applying online.
- Before applying online for the aforementioned examination, candidates are required to scan their photograph and signature for filling the online application form, as it is mandatory.
- Candidates can make the payment of application fees of Rs.450 / Rs.350 / Rs.50, through both online & offline mode.
- Candidates can make the payment of application fees from 1st Jun, 2012 till 25th Jun, 2012 (online mode) or 4th Jun, 2012 till 30th Jun, 2012 (offline mode).
- For online mode of fee payment, candidates are required to have the Master / Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. While making the online fee payment, candidates need to fill the details of Master / Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking.
- For offline mode of fee payment, candidates can make the fee payment through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS.
- Candidates, in offline mode of payment, can make the payment in any CBS branches of 6 Public Sector Banks i.e., Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank or United Bank of India.
- After making fee payment through CBS branches, candidates should collect the candidates’ copy of fee payment cash voucher receipt, as its details will be required to fill in the online application form, for its completion.
- After successful submission of the online application form, the system will generate a complete online application form, which candidates should print out and use it for the further process.
- The last date for reprint of the online application form is 27th Jun, 2012.
- Candidates can download their call letter from 22nd Aug, 2012 till 31st Aug, 2012, for the post of Officers (Scale I / II / II). For the post of Office Assistant, candidates can download their call letter from 28th Aug, 2012 till 7th Sep, 2012, from the aforementioned official website of IBPS.
