Type: Employment Notices

All the eligible candidates are invited for the posts of LDC, Technical Asst, Research Asst and Storekeeper  as follows:

• Lower Division Clerk
• Technical Assistant Group C
• Research Assistant Group II
• Storekeeper

Note

• The posts offered are temporary but are likely to continue. Selection will be made through screening test/interview, to be conducted by the institute.

Eligibility Conditions

For Lower Division Clerk:

• Should have completed 12th class or equivalent from any recognized Board or University
• Should have a typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on manual typewriter, or
• Should have a typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on Computer

For Technical Assistant Group C:

•  Should have obtained 10+2 Certificate in Science from any recognized Board or its equivalent

For Research Assistant Group II:

•  Should have obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Science in the relevant subject from any recognized University

For Storekeeper:

• Should have obtained Matriculation from any recognized Board or its equivalent

Required Age

• Lower Division Clerk - Should be between 18-27 years
• Technical Assistant Group C, Research Assistant Group II & Storekeeper - Should be between 18-25 years

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://ifgtb.icfre.gov.in/

• The duly filled in application (in the prescribed format) along with requisite documents (list given on the website) should be sent to the Director, Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, P B No-1061, RS Puram, Coimbatore - 641 002 (Tamil Nadu), latest by January 14, 2012.
• However, for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Pangi sub division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep or abroad, the last date of receipt of application is January 21, 2012.
