Institute of Home Economics (University of Delhi) Invites Applications for Non-Teaching Posts

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following non-teaching posts:

Eligibility Conditions

For Senior Technical Assistant (Computer)

MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognised university/ institute with one year experience or B.Tech./ BE (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ ECE) or equivalent degree with one year experience in relevant area.

For Professional Assistant (Library)

M.Lib.Sc./ M.L.I.Sc. Or equivalent with 50% marks; or Masters degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks.
Computer Science paper at Graduate/ PG level or six months Computer Science course from a recognised institution.

For Semi Professional Assistant (Library)

Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline or any other higher qualification with 50% marks.
B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I. Sc. with 50% marks. Course in computer application at Graduate or PG level or 6 months Computer course from a recognised institution.

For Assistant

Graduate from a recognised university in any discipline with working knowledge of computers, and Diploma/ Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline.
Or
Graduate degree in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline from a recognised university. Minimum 2 years of Administrative experience.

For Laboratory Assistant

Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Science subjects with 50% marks or B.Sc. graduates.

For JACT/ Caretaker

Senior Secondary School Certificate (+2) with ITI Trade Certificate or an equivalent qualification in Electrical/ Civil Plumbing/ Air Conditioning. Or Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years experience in the field, preferably in a Government department/ organisation or commercial establishment of repute.

For Library Assistant/JLIA

Passed Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education/ University/ Govt. recognised institutions. ii). Certificate in Library Science/ Library and Information Science from a recognised institution. iii). Computer Course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computer Science/ Word Processing from a recognised institution.

Application Fee

Rs.250 for UR/ OBC category and Rs.100 for SC/ ST category. There will be no fee for PWD candidates.
