Application process for Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) for the session 2015 has begun today i.e 3rd Sep, 2014. Aspiring candidates can apply on ONLINE in four steps as given below
Registration at JAPS: The candidates are required to register on the JAPS website. For doing so, the candidates are required to provide their names, a valid Email address, a working mobile number and a password. Upon successful registration, an E-mail containing the candidates' JAPS enrolment ID will be sent to the E-mail address provided by them. The enrolment ID will also be sent to the mobile number provided by the candidates. The candidates need to use this JAPS enrolment ID along with the JAPS password for all JAM 2015 related communications or website operations.
Filling in the application form:
Once, the candidates log in to the JAPS website, they are required to fill in the other details such as the number and choice of test paper(s) that they wish to appear for, city choices, date of birth, gender, parent/guardian's name and mobile number, nationality, category, PwD status, address for communication, details of valid personal ID information, information on qualifying degree, percentage of marks/CGPA, status of graduation, college information, etc.
Thereafter, the candidates are required to upload the image files (in .jpeg format) of photograph and signature. A scanned copy of SC/ST and/or PwD certificates (in .pdf format) are also to be uploaded, if applicable.
Payment of application:
On submitting the duly filled application form, the candidates are required to make the payment of application fee. The payment for application fee can be made online till October 9, 2014 or through challan till September 30, 2014.
Fee details:
For Female Candidates: All candidates: Rs 750 (One test paper), Rs 1, 050 (Two test papers)
For Male Candidates: General/ OBC: Rs 1, 500 (One test paper), Rs 2, 100 (Two test papers)
SC/ ST/ PwD: Rs 750 (One test paper), Rs 1, 050 (Two test papers)
Downloading the application form:
After the fee payment is done, the candidates are required to download the complete filled in application form with fee payment details in .pdf format.
With the submission of application form and JAPS acknowledging the successful fee payment, the candidate has successfully submitted the application for JAM 2015.
