Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates with good academic record, teaching / research experience and working in related areas of research are eligible to apply for the post(s) offered. However, the University also solicits applications from candidates with research interests that are interdisciplinary.

• The application fees is Rs 500 which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University, payable at New Delhi.
• Candidates can also obtain the application form in person on payment of Rs 500 in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University, payable at New Delhi. The same can also be obtained through post by sending requisition, along with a DD for Rs 520 (Rs 500 plus Rs 20 postal charges).
• Application form duly filled in all respect by must be supported by attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, evidence of teaching, research experience and production of MA / M Phil / PhD / NET certificates, copies of reprints of published articles, certificate containing the record of date of birth, etc.
• The duly filled in and completed application form, along with a self-addressed (unstamped) envelope (24 x 30 cm), requisite enclosure documents and DD (in case of downloaded application form), should be sent to the Section Officer, Recruitment Cell, Room No. 131, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi - 110067, latest by December 26, 2011.
