Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Ranchi, Jharkhand, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the posts of professors, for recruitment 2011.  The post of Professors is being offered in the following subjects:

 Note

 The recruitment for the unreserved permanent post of Professor(s) is being done for Kolhan University, Chaibasa, Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka and Nilambar Pitambar University, Medini Nagar, Palamau.

Eligibility Conditions

• Should be an eminent scholar as a Reader or in an equivalent pay scale with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and/or experience of research at the University/National Level Institutions, including experience of successfully guiding research at doctoral level, or
• An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge

Required Age

• Age of Superannuation is 62 years 
• Application Fee: Rs 650 (Rs 600 fee + Rs 50 Bank Charges/Post Office Charges)
  

How To Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can download the prescribed proforma and recruitment details from the JPSC’s official website: http://www.jpsc.gov.in/.
• Total fee is Rs 650 which is to be deposited through Challan in any branch of State Bank of India or in any branch of post office as mentioned on the back page of the challan. Challan can also be downloaded from the Commission’s official website. In addition, one copy of the challan-JPSC should be enclosed with the Application form.
• Candidates must attach self-attested copies of all educational certificates / experience certificates and self assessed Academic Performance Indicator (API Score) Category-III (Science and Humanity separately) in the prescribed Performa along with the application form.
• The duly filled in and completed application form, along with all the requisite documents (as mentioned above) should be sent through Registered / Speed Post to “The Secretary, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi - 834001” latest by December 31, 2011 (up to 5.00 pm).
