K L University, Guntur has invited applications for admission to its full time and part time Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in sciences, management and humanities and full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in engineering, sciences, management and humanities for the academic year 2017.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
For Ph.D in Engineering:
Aspiring candidates must possess a minimum 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA (55 per cent marks or 6.25 CGPA for SC/ST students) in Master's degree in engineering/technology or MTech by research or equivalent degree from any university recognised by UGC.
For Ph.D in Sciences/Management/Humanities:
Aspiring candidates must possess a minimum of 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA (50 per cent marks for SC/ST/ differently abled students) in Master's degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from any university recognised by UGC.
For M.Phil in Sciences/Management/Humanities:
Aspiring candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a minimum 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA( 50 per cent for SC/ST students/ differently abled) in arts, science, computer application and management of this university or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the field of study.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of an entrance test, interview and academic performance.
