Type: Admission Notices


Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs offered in various streams for 2013.

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech-SHIP) 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Tech Program

  • Candidates holding H.Sc. (academic) with a minimum average of 60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry (or) H.Sc. (vocational with Maths/Physics/Chemistry as related subjects with a minimum average of 60% (or) any Diploma with 70% of marks in final and prefinal (or) other equivalent examination accepted by admitting authority with a minimum average of 60% marks are eligible to apply.

For B.Arch Program

  • Candidates pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 50% in Maths, Physics & Chemistry are eligible to apply. Candidates pass in 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State governments with 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

  • Application form can also be downloaded from the website www.kalasalingam.ac.in and can be submitted along with DD for Rs.600.

  • Application form along with information brochure will be available at the university on payable of Rs.600 by cash in person or can be obtained by post by sending a demand draft (DD) for Rs.650 drawn in favor of "Kalasalingam University" payable at Rajapalayam to The Dean (Admissions) with a request letter. 

Selection Procedure

For B.Tech Program

  • The selections of candidates are done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination of Kalasalingam University to be conducted at all India level in major cities of India and marks scored in the +2 examination. Merit list will be based on marks scored in +2 (200 out of 300) and marks scored in the entrance examination (100 out of 300). 

Important Dates

  • Last date for submission of application form: 31st May, 2013 (Friday)
  • Date of entrance examination: 2nd Jun, 2013 (Sunday)
