Applications are invited from experience and skillful professionals for teaching staff positions for the following positions:

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in academic qualification, work experience and personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. Interview schedule will be announced later. Eligibility Conditions

For Professor

Eminent scholar with PhD degree in the concerned / relevant discipline from a recognized University
Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 10 publications as books / research / policy papers
Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in University / College or experience in Research at the University / National level institutions / industries
Should have contributed in various educational innovation, design of new curricula & courses and technology - mediated teaching learning process
Must have the minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Associate Professor

PhD degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with good academic record from a recognized University
Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 8 years of teaching experience on a position of Assistant professor in University / College
Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 5 publications as books / research / policy papers
Should have contributed in various educational innovation, design of new curricula & courses and technology - mediated teaching learning process
Must have the minimum score as specifiedin the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Assistant Professor

Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Candidates should have qualified NET / SLET / SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR.
Candidates having PhD degree are exempted from the condition of qualifying the NET / SLET / SET examinations.

Application Fee

Rs.1500 (Rs.500 Application Fees + Rs.1000 Processing Fees): For Assistant Professor
Rs.2000 (Rs.500 Application Fees + Rs.1500 Processing Fees): For Associate Professor and Professor 50% Concession in Processing fees for SC / ST candidates

For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the DD (required amount) drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Karnataka State Law University, Navanagar, Hubli, payable at Hubli.
Application form (8 sets), duly completed in all respect, along with the DD and attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents should be submitted to The Registrar, Karnataka State Law University, Navanagar, Hubli - 580025, by post on or before 10^th Jul, 2012.
Candidates should mention Application for the Post of __________ on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
Candidates applying for various posts should apply with separate application form and application fees for each post.
