Students who want to pursue courses on agriculture, food science and veterinary science will have to appear for the test, to be held on May 1, 2 and 3 this year.
Courses that'll need CET rank for admission include BSc agriculture, BSc forestry, BSc sericulture, BSc agri-biotechnology, BSc horticulture, Bachelor of home science (BHSc), Bachelor of veterinary science and animal husbandry (BVSAH), Btech food technology, Btech dairy technology, Bachelor of food Science (BFSc), Btech (food science and technology) & BSc agricultural marketing and Btech agriculture engineering.
In the past there were separate examinations for these courses that were conducted by respective universities. Now students can sit for CET and take up various courses under agricultural universities too.
