The registration process for Kendriya Vidyalaya teacher recruitment 2017 has started on the official website i.e kvsangathan.nic.in
The recruitment will be for the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The number of vacancies will as follows:
- Primary teacher (PRT; Group B): 220
- Trained Graduate teacher (TGT; Group B): 144
- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) (Group B Post): 182
Note: The number of vacancies indicated above is tentative and subject to changes.
How to apply?
Aspiring candidates can visit the official website of the Sangathan i.e kvsangathan.nic.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.
Eligibility Criteria:
For PGT (English, Hindi, History, Economics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Maths):
Interested candidates must possess a two-year integrated post graduate degree in MSc of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate and B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
For TGT (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Social Studies, Maths and Science):
Candidates must have pursued a four year integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate and CTET Paper 2 pass.
For Primary Teacher:
Interested candidates must be Class 12 pass from a recognised state board or university with 50 % marks and CTET pass.
Also, applicants must have proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi medium.
Application Fee:
All the candidates need to pay Rs 750.
Mode of selection:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview put together. The KVS reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in written examination and interview separately. The decision of the KVS about the mode of selection to the above posts and eligibility conditions of the applicants for interview shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
