Applications are invited from well-educated and skilled candidates for various posts for the following positions:

• Specialist Grade-II (Thoracic Surgery) (Group A)
• Administrative Officer (Group B) (Deputation basis)
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Group B)
• Lower Division Clerk (Group C) 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates. Eligibility Conditions

For Specialist Grade-II (Thoracic Surgery) (Group A)

• Must have recognized Medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the third schedule (other than the Licentiate Qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956, and hold educational qualifications included in Part II of third schedule and fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of IMC the Act)
  
  
• MD / MS Degree with M Ch Degree in Thoracic Surgery / Cardio Thoracic Surgery or Speciality board of Thoracic Surgery (USA) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 45 years.

For Administrative Officer (Group B) (Deputation basis)

• Should be an Officer under the Central Government / State Government / Autonomous Organizations, and hold analogous post on regular basis, with minimum 8/12 years of service in posts, in the scale of Rs.5500-9000 / 5000-8000 (pre-revised) or its equivalent respectively
  
  
• Should have experience in the field of personnel management, establishment, and general administration work
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 56 years.

For Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Group B)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Lower Division Clerk (Group C)

• Passed Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / University
  
  
• Should have minimum Typewriting speed of 30 WPM in Hindi / English
  
  
• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 27 years. 

Application Fee

• Rs.50: For Group C posts
• Rs.100: For Group A & Group B posts
• Exempted for SC / ST / Women candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.50 / Rs.100, drawn in favor of Director, LRS Institute of Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with affixed and attested recent passport-size photograph, DD and attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to:
