To get admission in LU MBA programmes candidates will require more than the scores obtained in CAT or LU MAT exams from this academic session. Making the performances in class X, XII and graduation, along with the sections of group discussion, and personal interview important to be considered for entry to MBA courses at LU, as said by the university officials.
From now on CAT or LU-MAT score will secure only 70% weightage, and the rest of that will constitute 10% for group discussion, 12% for interview, and 5% for the marks obtained in class X, XII and graduation. The remaining 3% weightage will be subjected to candidates having work experience.
Lucknow University Management Admission Test (LU-MAT) 2014 has been scheduled to be held after elections. The application process for the test has already been started from 20 March 2014, and the closing date is 20 April 2014. The entire application process is online, and the eligibility to appear for LU-MAT is 50% aggregate marks in graduation.
A total of 540 seats are available in nine MBA courses at LU. The courses are -- MBA, MBA (self-finance), MBA (corporate management), MBA (HR &IR), MBA (International Business), MBA (Finance & Control), MBA (Management Sciences), MBA (Marketing) and MBA (Retail Management).
