All the eligible candidates are invited for the following positions:

• Team Leader
• System Analyst
• Junior Engineer (Trans) - Trainee
• Junior Engineer (Civil) - Trainee
• Special Recruitment Drive for Physically Handicapped Persons
• Deputy Executive Engineer (Trans)
• Steno Typist (English)

Note: Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written test, followed by personal interview. The written test is to be held on  1^st Jan, 2012.

 Eligibility Conditions

For Team Leader

• BE degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology or B Tech degree in Computer / IT from a recognized University / Institute
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Computer Programming, Developing Software, Application and Database Administration with Oracle, MS-SQL server and Development Tools, Window Programme and RDB

For System Analyst

• BE degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology or B Tech degree in Computer / IT from a recognized University / Institute
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in ERP enabled office environment

For Junior Engineer (Trans / Civil) - Trainee

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Power Engineering / Civil Engineering / Technology from a recognized University / Institute

 For Deputy Executive Engineer (Trans)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University / Institute
• Master’s Degree in Engineering / Management / Administration with specialization in Finance / Marketing / Human Resources Development / Material Management / Operational Research / IT from a recognized University / Institute
• Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in Power sector, out of which 3 years should be in the field of Transmission side

For Steno Typist (English)

• SSC qualification or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline will be preferred
• Should have minimum speed of 80 WPM in Shorthand and 40 WPM in Typing

Required Age

• 20 - 40 years: Team Leader
• 20 - 35 years: System Analyst & Junior Engineers (Trans / Civil)
• 20 - 45 years: Deputy Executive Engineer
• 18 - 45 years: Steno Typist

Application Fee: General & Others: Rs 500 (Application fees) + Rs 50 (Service charges) SC / ST / BC candidates: Rs 250 (Application fees) + Rs 50 (Service charges) Exempted for PWD candidates

How To Apply

• Willing candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official link of MahaTransco: http://registration.sifyitest.com/msetclnov11/.
• The online registration began on November 8, 2011 and will close on November 29, 2011.
• Before filling the application form, candidates are required to pay-in the application fee of Rs 550 / Rs 300 through Challan, which can be downloaded from the official link of MahaTransco: http://www.mahatransco.in/wps/wcm/connect/997b840048f9fbfe806d9e2c9cbd655b/Advt_No.+07_2011.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CACHEID=997b840048f9fbfe806d9e2c9cbd655b.
• Candidates can pay the application fee in any branch of State Bank of India, in the Account Name: Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company, Ltd. Mumbai, Account No: 31698939603, through Challan.
• After paying the application fee through Challan, the bank will generate a Branch Name & Code Number, Branch Trans ID, and Date of Deposit, which the candidates are required to fill in the online application form for completing the form.
• Candidates should keep the “Candidate’s Challan Copy” with them as a future reference.
• After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a complete online application form, which candidates should print out and use it for the further process.
• Printed online application form, along with Original counterfoil (MSETCL’s copy) of the fee payment Challan and attested (by Gazetted officer) photocopies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to Post Box No 9728, Borivali (East), Mumbai - 400066, by ordinary post.
