Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam Invites Applications for Admission into Admission into M.Phil Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) program in various subjects offered at the schools of study of the university for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
Candidates awaiting final year Results can also apply for these programs.

The registration fee for M.Phil program is Rs.500/-.
Candidates should remit the registration fee by way of challan at any branch of SBT (challan form can be downloaded from the University website) or at the university cash counter/Friends Janasevanakendram.
Duly filled up applications along with registration fee (challan/pay-in-slip/receipt) and copies of documents should be sent to the directors of the schools concerned.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test and interview in a proportion of 100:40:10 except for M.Phil programs in the School of Social Sciences, School of Pedagogical Sciences and the School of Pure and Applied Physics.
