Applications are invited from talented and skillful professionals for the posts of Scientist ‘B’ for National Museum of Natural History (NMNH). 

Note

• Candidates’ appointment is to be done on temporary basis but likely to be continued. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Personal Interview. Only initial screening short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview.

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s Degree in Zoology / Botany from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Diploma / Certificate Course in Museology of a duration of not less than 10 months, or minimum two years of work experience  in a State / National Museum, preferably in Natural History Section
  
  
• Experience of field work in Natural History Collections, and their preservation & documentation
  
  
• Good knowledge and experience in development of thematic exhibitions and programmes
  
  
• Should have sound knowledge of latest display design and multi-media presentation

Age Limit

• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates provided as per organization norms.

Application Fee: Rs.100 (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Female candidates)

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD / IPO for Rs.100, drawn in favor of Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Ministry of Environment & Forests, payable at New Delhi.
  
  
• Application Form (neatly hand-written or typed), duly complete in all respect, along with recent passport size photograph, DD, one self-addressed post card, and photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to:
