Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts:

• Assistant Professor (Special Education): 01 Post
• Assistant Professor (Pediatrics): 01 Post
• For Assistant Professor (Psychiatry)
• Lecturer (Special Education): 01 Post
• Office Superintendent: 01 Post
• Home Visitor/ Teacher: 01 Post

For Assistant Professor (Special Education)

• Masters in Social Sciences with M.Ed. in Special Education (MR)/ M.Ed. with DSE (MR) or equivalent qualifications and PhD with dissertation topic in the field of education of children with mental retardation.
• Five years experience in teaching professionals or personnel/ research in the field of Special Education (MR).

For Assistant Professor (Pediatrics)

• Postgraduate in Medical degree, e.g., MD in Pediatrics of a recognised university or equivalent qualification.
• Four years teaching and/or research experience in the subject specialty after postgraduate qualification.

For Assistant Professor (Psychiatry)

• Postgraduate Medical degree, e.g., MD in Psychiatry of a recognised university or equivalent qualification.
• Four years teaching and/or research experience in the subject specialty after post graduate qualification.

For Lecturer (Special Education)

• Masters Degree from a recognised university in any subject.
• One year Diploma in Special Education or B.Ed. in Special Education of Mentally Retarded.
• Two years experience after the qualification in Special Education.

For Office Superintendent

• Graduate with five years administrative experience or Matriculation or Higher Secondary with ten years administrative experience of which five years should be in supervisory capacity in the scale of pay of Rs.1400-2300 or above. Knowledge of Central Govt. Rules on establishment, accounts and stores and purchase.

For Home Visitor/ Teacher

• Degree from a recognised university.
• Masters Degree in Social Work.

Application Fee

• DD of Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Director, NIMH payable at Secunderabad. No fee is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PH category.
